      FAQ’s

       

      Will it cost to use classic studios?

      • No, as a Salon owner posting your business is a privilege. However, Traveling Freelancers are contracted with Classic Studios and cannot contract with a salon owner. If Salon owner request a Traveling Freelancer: the traveling freelancer is to be paid commission only within the salon work setting and no monthly booth charges.

       

      Can I find a non-contracted cosmetologist on Classic Studios?

      • Yes, if a cosmetologist would like to use Classic Studios and do not sign up as a traveling freelancer. The cosmetologist is at free will to find and choose the salon to work for.

       

      How long can a Traveling Freelancer work in my salon?

      • Classic Studios allows the Traveling Freelancer to work up to 1 business day. If the Traveling Freelancer is not booked, they are welcome to stay. But they are not to be contracted to pay monthly booth rent.

       

      Do Traveling Cosmetologist provide their own supplies?

      • No, not to travel to and from salons. Salon manager / owner must provide supplies for the cosmetologist to use for services. This rule applies to hiring a Traveling Freelancer to provide service for accommodation services: Salon owner must upkeep products and tools used to lend Traveling Freelancers. Tools and products must coordinate with state board sanitation laws.

      Can salons us Accommodation Services?

      • Yes, they can list their booking prices on their portal and choose a desirable cosmetologist to service their clients.

      Traveling Freelancers are selected as open services and or booked services.

      • Open services are by offer and by open time to provide services.
      • Booked services; is offered only through booking.

       

      TRAVELING COSMETOLOGIST (TRAVELING FREELANCER).

       .

      • A Traveling Freelancer can assist salon owners for booth vacancies, or accommodation services if needed. 

      .

      • Traveling Freelancers are contracted with Classic Studios as a self-employed professional. However, as a traveling freelancer payment out are subject to commission pay of salons services fees.

      Classic Studios list cosmetologist in the following categories:

      1.     Beginner: Fresh out of college or in college for license

      2.     Advance: some experience within the salon setting

      3.     Expert: experienced with clients (independent contractor).

       

      • Beginner: Non-licensed cosmetologist can use our application to showcase their work and network with another cosmetologist however, within this portal the cosmetologist cannot travel and not allow to create a booking software for clientele. These are newcomers in college to gain their state certification.

       

      • Advance: A licensed cosmetologist can use our application to showcase their work and network with another cosmetologist, however, this portal the cosmetologist cannot travel as a freelancer if they did not sign up but allowed to create a booking software for clientele.       • Advance / Expert:  A licensed cosmetologist can use our application to showcase their work and network with another cosmetologist, however, this portal the cosmetologist could travel as a freelancer if they signed up and allowed to create a booking software for clientele. The booking link will be on the cosmetologist page.

      BOOTH VANCANCIES:

       

      Booth Vacancies: Contract agreement through the salon owner and

      cosmetologist.

      Open Booth: Booth vacancies that are temporary or vacant until

      preferred agreement with a chosen candidate is selected.

      Reasons for open booth:

      2.     Contacted cosmetologist is out: sick, vacation; emergency.

      3.     New business.

      PAY & BARGAINING:

       

      • Open Booth: If salon owner gets notification from a cosmetologist looking for work, the salon owner has the right to choose how to pay cosmetologist. And the traveling freelancer has the right to except or not except, regardless level of experience, Beginner, Advanced, Expert.

      • Advance or Expert Cosmetologist: if a traveling freelancer receives notification from a salon for service; then the traveling freelancer has the right to bargain their professional service prices.

      • Beginner Cosmetologist: if the traveling freelancer gets notification from a salon for service; then the cosmetologist cannot bargain service pay. And the traveling freelancer has the right to except or not except

       

      • Clients: the salon owner and or the cosmetologist prices are their prices.
      • Salon Manager / Owner, Independent contractor & freelancer can bargain these types of pay: Commission
